If you make it into the Hall of Penitence in the Fort Joy castle, you will earn a new entry in the journal. 
If you complete the The Imprisoned Elf quest, it will reveal a potential escape method. You can get an update to this quest by activating the Withermoore's Soul Jar quest. You'll gain another bit upon entering Fort Joy's ghetto region. You can gain an optional entry by having an elf eat Atusa's leg and gaining her memories of someone named Verdas. Tell her you were sent to help and she will ask about Atusa, saying that she was going to help them escape. In the area where you find Fane, there are some vines you can climb up. The next entry is gained when you reach Fort Joy and witness the murder of Atusa. You can gain a new entry by attacking the nearby Voidling enemies that are found along the same beach. The first entry for this quest will be given to you after getting off the Merryweather and washing up on shore. You can find a lever that unlocks a path to the Ancient Passage. 
Once the battle is over, you can leave Hans for now and head near the steps you came from. After that's done, you'll have to make your way to Knlies' playground and kill him along with his pets.
You can also do as Deloris instructed by telling them about the Madam, just do not mention that Deloris is the one who gave you that information.Įventually, you'll arrive at the hound master's room, you'll need to open Birdie's cage with the elaborate key and then persuade him - doing so will grant you EXP. What you can do is have one of the characters speak to the magister then set up an ambush to catch them off guard as they try to flee. Make sure to get rid of the monks first before taking on the magisters. From here, you'll find Monks and Magisters. It is recommended to enter Fort Joy Prison via the Underground Tunnel.
